After limping my way through the 5K, I came home, showered changed and headed back up to the cabin.
I took some more shots on the drive up there for those who've never been to this part of the country. (And for my husband who misses it.) Some of these were taken flying down the highway but some of them, I actually stopped and got out and took.
This is the greenest I've seen Idaho in about a dozen years.

Those mountains way in the distance are the Buttes upon which my parents live.
Munchkin was happy to see his mommy again.
It was about 20 degrees cooler up the mountain, so he didn't get to wear his cute 4th of July outfit we had for him. But at least he was still patriotic.

Wow!! Idaho is green. Reminds me of '97. And look how big Gideon is. I miss you.
I like the pictures of the Shyre,...I mean Idaho. It's so green I didn't recognize it. I miss that munchkin head! He's so cute! I still want to see his other 4th of July outfit. And I'm glad he liked the sparklers.
Looks like fun...Idaho really does look green! Wow! Glad you had a good weekend!
I'm so jealous of Gideon's adorable sparkler pictures! Not only did I not have my camera the whole day, I totally forgot to buy sparklers! I guess there's next year...
I want to go to the cabin.
Wow, beautiful! Haha, I remember now watching the vidoes of the Colgate country showdown on your blog. My music is not so country, but I LOVE listening to it. I don't know what it is, but I love entering competitions. I need practice singing in front of people, so I'll take what I can get. Only 17 people entered & 12 will be chosen to perform, funny heh? Anyway, I'm just doing it for fun, wish me luck!
