We had to make a quick stop along the way so Nana could do some shopping (Don't worry, we were still at the airport more than an hour before his flight landed) and so munchkin got to ride some fun rides. He enjoyed it so much he screamed when it was time to go.
But since daddy's been home, he's been learning to ride the little scooter, so that kind of makes up for the rides. They've been having a good time together.
It was even fun taking apart the crib and setting up the "big boy" bed.
Such a big boy! It almost makes me cry that he's just not a baby anymore!
And yes, today is Trav's birthday. I would tell you how old he is, but the closer he gets to 40 the crankier he's getting about that.

You couldn't even put up one full picture of Travis? I mean we haven't seen much of his mug for 7 months and all we get are side shots from a distance!!!! (At least he isn't underwater wearing a mask and fins.) Oh well, I am so glad he is home. Looks like he and The Gidster are Buddy Buddy again.
And I love the bed!! Gideon is such a big boy!!
