So here are the missing photos from my previous post. Starting with the shots of Mason getting friendly with the turtle. Trust me this got more than a few comments from spectators and other runners.

Seriously can you believe this woman is a mother of 8?!?!?!?!?!? I'm so proud of my baby sister. And I'm so glad I got to do another relay with her! We have such fun together!

Okay so last year's Speeday Fairy (aka my mom) was a little more flamboyant and funny, but hey, at least the tradition is kept alive and we even have a speedway fairy, right?
And this is pretty much what overnight looks like on a relay. Either you're running or you're trying to catch sleep whenever, however and where ever you can.
And because she is a mother of 8, this woman can sleep anywhere. I envy that!

I heard she slept for 2 hours with those annoying remote control cars buzzing right next to the van! I think I should give speedway fairy lessons.
