Another 5K and lots of munchkin pictures

Riding around in the car with mommy all day can get really tiring.

Oh that life could always be so simple!

Friday we drove down to Utah.

We took the train up to SLC to play.

Munchkin enjoyed the train ride and loved the Planetarium even more.

We walked around Gateway for a while and got some dinner. Once again the backpack leash turned out to be a Godsend. Gideon actually loves wearing it because he knows that it means he'll get to walk instead of having to ride in a stroller or be carried.

So tired on the way home!

Aunt Hillary got hold of the camera apparently.

This morning we got up early and Hillary and I ran the Spring View Farms 5K in Riverton, UT. Gideon played in the park with Uncle Jake and then greeted us at the finish line. I was exhausted because I didn't sleep well at all last night, but somehow managed to make it.

This was Hillary's first competitive race and she did really well. Unfortunately her dear husband forgot to get any pictures of me running. Oh well. I did it. That's what matters. I managed to shave two minutes off my time from the 4th. It still isn't good, but I guess I'll take whatever I can get. Especially since this will be the last one for a while.

YIKES! I'm so scary without makeup! I look about a hundred years old!

This one is for daddy. Recognize those killer sunglasses?

I was thinking that with no makeup and the braided pigtails that you looked about 20. Go figure!
My little boy is getting so big. And wow! he has a lot of hair!

Way to go Cali! You inspire me. Running is not my forte, but I still try. Hope to see you at the end of this month. I need your phone number. WHat is this surgery all about by the way? Hope it's nothing serious.
