The Setting

Yes, we really did camp. We had our own little colony at which 23 people were staying. It consisted of one trailer and six tents plus three picnic tables and one screen room (to try and keep the bugs out of the eating area.) Anyway it was fun and very interesting to say the least...

Grandma with the baby boys, Gideon and Adam. (By the way, does anyone else find it unnerving how much mom looks like Grandma Charlotte in this picture?)

Lydia playing Peek-a-Boo

Aunt Jesse's strong biceps.

Not sure where Lydia found the chocolate, but I wish she'd shared.

Preston and Adam enjoy their camp chairs.

Grandpa had three grandchildren he'd never met until this trip, here he is with two of them, Gideon and Lily.

And more souvenirs from Morocco.

After years of not-so-subtle hints, we finally broke down and bought mom the Mother's Day gift she's always wanted: A Mother's ring with all seven birthstones.

I'll post the next installment of pictures tomorrow.
