Sunset at the Beach

Last night we decided to go down to Ft. Lauderdale Beach. It was a bit breezy, but still pretty warm.

We got to watch the cruise ships pull out from port and sail away. That was kind of cool. It made me want to go on a cruise. Those ships are so huge they're like floating cities!

How fun is this? A playground on the beach! I hate where I live! I want to live here!
We walked down to the beach and ditched out shoes. The water was much warmer than I expected it to be so we waded for a while.
The only problem was that I had to keep a tight hold on Gideon. He kept trying to run straight into the water. He wanted to go swimming. As it was he sat down in the water a bunch before we left, so we had to strip him down and bring him home in a diaper.

This is Cami's footprint and the only proof that she was there. She preferred to stay up away from the water and run the camera.

It was so much fun that we've decided to go back and have a barbecue on the beach one of these evenings.

Grandpa is proud of him for liking the water and getting so wet he had to come home without his britches.
