Continuing the "Blast From the Past Theme" I'm somewhat embarrassed to bring you Prom 1994.
I was a sophomore that year and my date was Danny Meuser, who was a junior at the time.
Danny was actually a pretty good guy. We dated on and off throughout the rest of school. In retrospect I'm not sure I always treated him very well. I'm a little bit sorry about that now. Wish I had a way of apologizing, but we lost touch at least a dozen years ago.

And this is the infamous "Mermaid" dress. It has been relegated to 'costume' status. Meaning that it only comes out now when someone wants to wear it for a Halloween costume, or skit that is clearly poking fun at me the first owner and wearer of the dress. But I can promise you, that if you picked up a prom magazine from the mid-nineties you'd find this dress splashed all over it. And it was a popular style too. That year at the prom, in addition to my teal and black version there was a brown & black version, red & black, and blue & purple worn by different girls.

I have a black/purple one! Maybe I'll post it one day. Brave you to include your date! I think I'll stay solo, lol!
this is amazing on so many different levels! ;)
I loved that dress. And it looks so good on you!! Yes, there were two of that same style when we went into the store that evening and within 30 minutes they had both been sold. And there was a girl who was very upset that we bought the last dress of that style.
I CAN'T BELIEVE JESSE CAN STILL WEAR THAT DRESS. I'M GOING TO THROW UP NOW!
