I swear, I laid him on the blanket on his stomach (because he so enjoys tummy time) & when I came back from the bathroom, this is what I found...
I almost didn't belive my eyes. Isn't he too young to be rolling over?
Oh well, after those heroics we still enjoyed tummy time together & he didn't repeat the amazing feat. Maybe it was a fluke.
His eyelashes are getting so long. You can almost see them in this picture.

Yay Gideon! You are growing up too fast! McCoy rolled over for the first time today too, and he too would not repeat it! And no he isnt too young, I have heard of 2 and 3 week olds rolling over. I love the picture where he is smiling on his tummy. I wish McCoy liked tummy time that much!
I was going to say that the cat did it, but then I realized you are at Nana's and Papa's. So it must have been him. Good job.
Now whatever you do don't make my mistake. I laid you on a table when you were just 2 months old. You had never in your life come close to rolling over. I walked away for about 10 seconds, heard a little grunt and when I looked back you were rolling off the edge of the table and hit the concrete floor. BAM! I was so shocked and frightened I almost fainted. Good thing your dad was with me. You had a nasty goose egg, but other than that no harm done.... we think. I don't recall you having any OCD issues at that time. hmmm..?
Oh well, it was a good month or more before you rolled over again. :-) Love you.
He is so cute!!! And that's pretty amazing that he rolled over. I can't remember how old Davy was when he did it the first time but I too was in the bathroom!
