Desperate for Distraction
Thank goodness basketball starts again tomorrow! The caseworker called this afternoon. B has decided she doesn't want to place until Sunday afternoon, so we get two more days I guess before we actually get him. So yeah, if anyone has any suggestions for good distractions I'm all ears. We definitely need something to keep us occupied for the next four days. The good news is that they've started the "legal" part of the process. When she does place him on Sunday she won't have been before the judge yet, so he'll still be in legal risk, but they should have a court date set by then, so we'll know when that part of this is going to happen. Love to all.

Congrats on becomming parents! He is so handsome! I know this part of it seems like it will never end, but it does get better and when you get to take him home that is the most amazing feeling ever. I just back back from Utah last night, so I hadn't checked your blog for a few days, and I was so excited to see that he Gideon made it here safe and healthy :) Congrats again mommy and daddy!
Why did she add on two more days??!! But it will all be worth it when you get to bring your baby home. As for distractions my favorite things are baking and watching movies. So I would probably bake a big batch of cookies and then watch several movies. You never know this might be the last chance for awhile to watch an entire movie without falling asleep.:) I also enjoy walking while listening to my IPOD. It really happens me when I'm sad or anxious. I'll be praying for time to fly for you guys!
Sorry! I meant to say that walking really helps me, not happens me. I'm tired, can you tell?
Chin Up! Watch old movies.
Time for Cary Grant and Jean Harlow! (Until you can watch Phsyco-T and the boys)
...or...Get on my email. Download the pictures of Grandpa that Jacob sent to me and see if they will load on your blog. I can't get them to load on mine. That should keep you busy. (Did you know your grandpa was a hottie when he was 19?)
Oh man...I'd for sure be going crazy. But really watching movies and going to dinner are the ideas that came to my mind too.
Sorry I don't have any suggestions to keep you busy. I was wondering if you know much about the father? Also, Shiloh's blog looks very cute!
We don't know much about the father outside of some very basic "health" information. She has chosen not to disclose his identity and in Idaho she's not legally required to disclose. So we don't know much at all. Sorry.
I am a soon to be fellow adopter and have been stalking your blog :) I just want you to know that I wish you the best and my thoughts and prayers are with you. This isn't easy, but boy will it be worth it! I know that our Father is watching over all. Good Luck, staying sane through these next few days :)
Cali,
I would so love to come and visit and help distract you. It would be so much fun to meet you! But my loving husband would not let me drive that far by myself with McCoy. Maybe in a month or two, Bryce and I can come down that way. I have a cousin who lives there that just had twins and I could get all that fun visiting done in one trip, plus maybe a session at the temple. Loves! And I am praying like crazy that this time will go by fast for you and that all will work out perfectly!
